    Muhammara (Roasted Red Pepper Dip)


    What you’ll need

    • 1 jar (12 oz / 340 g) roasted red peppers, drained   
    •  ½ cup walnuts     
    • ¼ cup breadcrumbs   
    • 1 tbsp olive oil     
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice     
    •  ½ tsp ground cumin      
    • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes      
    • ¼ tsp salt

    How to make

    1. Place the roasted red peppers, walnuts, breadcrumbs, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, red pepper flakes, and salt in a food processor.
    2. Blend until the mixture is mostly smooth but still has a little texture.
    3. Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning with additional salt, lemon juice, or red pepper flakes as desired.
    4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil before serving.
